Jace Yarbrough is a seventh-generation Texan, veteran, husband, and father. He is a partner at a litigation boutique that fights on behalf of conservative causes and clients in the courts. Jace regularly teams up with one of his former law school professors, Jonathan Mitchell, to fight for the unborn through litigation. (You can read about one such case here (https://www.texastribune.org/2023/10/17/san-antonio-abortion-funds/) and here (https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2023/10/17/anti-abortion-groups-sue-city-of-san-antonio-over-reproductive-justice-fund/).)
Jace was raised in Claude, Texas, and earned bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Government from the University of Texas at Austin, where he interned for the Texas Public Policy Foundation. He also earned a law degree from Stanford Law School, where he served as president of his law school’s chapter of the Federalist Society. He is a former fellow of the John Jay Institute for Faith, Society and Law, Alliance Defending Freedom’s Blackstone Legal Fellowship, and the Claremont Institute.
After college, Jace served in the United States Air Force. While on active duty, Jace commanded multiple operational flights and led engineering teams to develop capabilities for DoD weapon systems worth hundreds of millions of dollars. During his second tour, he was assigned to the USAF Honor Guard in the National Capital Region, where it was his great honor to preside over the funerals of hundreds of deceased American heroes who were laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. He has received numerous military decorations and awards. He continues his military service today in the Air Force Reserve.
After law school, Jace was a commercial litigator at the Dallas office of a Texas-based, global law firm. He eventually left big law to fight for conservative causes and clients in Texas and protect constitutional freedoms all over America. In addition to his law practice, he is standing up for First Amendment rights against the military bureaucracy. When the Air Force demanded that he get the COVID-19 shot, Jace refused. And when the Air Force formally disciplined him for standing up for truth and rejecting cancel culture, he pushed back and sued the Air Force to vindicate his First-Amendment rights. In this suit, he is represented by First Liberty Institute. You can read more about this suit, including the complaint and his remarks, here (https://firstliberty.org/media/department-of-the-air-force-sued-for-violating-reservists-free-speech-and-religious-exercise-rights-for-off-duty-remarks/)

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth. Together, they have five children and are active in their local church in Denton. With their shared passion for forming the next generation and empowering parents through school choice, they founded a low-cost, classical Christian school, serving families in their community.
